Devious Journal Entry

Hello everyone,

Im trying out this new journal entry but I'm not sure how to post a picture here yet!

This has been an interesting few months while Ive been recovering from treatments. I have had 6 months of hill climbing and can finally say that today Im finished some of the treatments Ive undergone. I dont want to say too much about it as Im not looking for sympathy. One good things that has come from all this is I continue to draw and paint regardless of what I feel like!

I have been attempting to do some varied conte work. It seems that many people think conte is varied in colour when the only conte pencils I use are black, white. grey and sepia. Im not certain where others are thinking these drawings are boring...I have so much fun just using a few colours to achieve a picture and mood in it.

Im studying Van Gogh's work and may attempt to do some very loose brush styled work in the days ahead.

Im really looking forward to working with my friend Albert Casson soon and start trying some new things.
